h1World Of Warcraft > Me

Posted on Tuesday, February 13th, 2007 at 4:27 AM (1 year, 3 months ago)

I’m addicted and this blog is dead now as a result, lol. If I’m not doing paid work, I’m most likely playing it.

I’ll try and set aside some time to get plugins updated, but damn that game is fun. :(

h1Do You Have A Battlefield 2 Account?

Posted on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2006 at 9:22 PM (1 year, 8 months ago)

If so, I highly advise that you go reserve it for Battlefield 2142. If you don’t, someone else could take your name once it hits stores. ;)

Instructions:

  1. Enter an EA.com username / password. If you’ve used the EA Downloader, then that’s the same user system, so use that. Otherwise just make a new account.
  2. Enter your BF2 username / password.
  3. Enter the username you’d like for BF2142. It can be the same as your BF2 name or it can be different. However, it cannot be one that has been registered in BF2. For that, you need to wait until it hits the shelves when all non-registered in BF2142 nicks will be freed up.

Questions? Post here and I bet I can answer them for you. :)

h1Battlefield 2142 Rocks

I can’t really go into detail as this is a private beta for the moment (so I’m under a NDA), but I will say this — think BF2 meets UT2k4. :)

h1“Portal”

Posted on Monday, July 31st, 2006 at 4:21 AM (1 year, 9 months ago)

As many of you may know, the next installation of Half-Life 2 will be Episode Two. It picks up where Episode One leaves off. If you haven’t seen the trailer for Episode Two, then you can check it out on Steam.

Anyway, Episode Two will come bundled with two games — Team Fortress 2 (teaser trailer available here), the sequel to the hugely popular Half-Life 1 mod Team Fortress, and a game called “Portal”. Portal is a puzzle game of sorts where you are given a gun that allows you to create portals that you can travel through. Frankly, it’s a bit hard to explain, so I suggest you watch the awesome trailer.

You can either download a high resolution version or watch this crappy YouTube quality version:

If you’d like more information about this cool game, check out this great fan site run by a buddy of mine.

h1“Prey” Demo Released!

Posted on Thursday, June 22nd, 2006 at 8:24 AM (1 year, 10 months ago)

The “Prey” demo (official site) was released last night or sometime around then. I just finished beating it and I must say, it’s pretty kickass and trippy. To get an idea of what I mean by trippy, check out this quick shitty-YouTube-quality video I made from the demo:

And it gets even more crazy (I won’t spoil it though).

If this looks interesting to you, go grab the demo now!

h1A Look At Battlefield 2142

Posted on Saturday, May 13th, 2006 at 5:07 AM (2 years ago)

Edit @ 4:20PM: Haha, I just realized that outta habit and lack of sleep, I typed “1942″ rather than “2142″. Whoops!

The guys over at BF2S.com managed to check out Battlefield 2142 recently at E3.

Their opinions of the game as well as a great video and some screenshots can be found on right here. If you’re into first person shooter games, I highly recommend you read it! :)

h1Half-Life 2: Episode One Is Now Pre-Loading!

Posted on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2006 at 2:39 AM (2 years ago)

Starting today, you can pre-load the PC game “Half-Life 2: Episode One“. Episode One picks up where Half-Life 2 left off and has you venture to the outside of City 17.

Now, the game doesn’t come out until June 1st, but if you pre-load it before hand, you’ll have the game ready to go to be unlocked for when it’s released. Then you can play it moments after it’s released. Not to mention that if you purchase it before it’s released, you’ll save 20% off the purchase price which is $19.95 if you buy it by itself (other packages that contain other Valve titles as well are available), which is a pretty good deal if you ask me. I’m already pre-loading it and I’ll be pre-ordering it in the next couple days. :)
