Hi Viper,
Thanks so much for this plugin, however I just downloaded the new one from WordPress today and have spent 2 hours trying to work it out. I am a web developer myself, and have managed to install many plugins without problems.
My problem is this:
I get the buttons fine in the WYSIWYG editor, the plugin is activated correctly, but when I publish the blog post, the code is inserted into the post as you can see here
http://www.earthoria.com/2007/01/01/new-years-eve-party-hadrin-beach-koh-phangan/
I have unistalled it, reinstalled it, and tried everything I can think of but still no YouTube video. Any ideas?
Many thanks,
Tom
A) Please use my support forums next time.
B) The plugin only supports valid BBCode calls, which yours is not. Try this instead:
[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfBMOor0Yec[/youtube]
This tag [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfBMOor0Yec[/youtube] works for me but metacafe tag [metacafe]http://www.metacafe.com/watch/871880/magento_4/[/metacafe] doesnt work :// URI adress ir correct you can check it
Like this plugin, but could you add Stage6 to it?
Would be very good 🙂
Stage6 support added and Metacafe bug fixed. Thanks for the report. 🙂
yey 😀 Thank you Viper 🙂
Awesome man, thanks a lot, always great plugins you provide!
Hello
I just see a youtube link with one of my theme
http://www.networkingblogger.com/?p=43
But when i change to default or other theme, it works.
What theme changes we have to make for this plugin to work 🙁

I don’t see anything at that page. It must be private (logged in only) or something.
Although I don’t see the required Javascript file being loaded in the head, so your theme is probably missing the required
<?php wp_head(); ?>
in it’s<head>
.i removed that post.. sorry..
Where should I put this code ??
where in header.php ?
Right before
</head>
. Look at the default theme’s header.php to see for yourself.Thanks man, its working…
wp head solved the problem. 🙂
I think you should add this problem solution in a notes file which comes with the plugin .. I see many people having same problem. 😉

They’re “required” part of themes, so I figure 99.9% of themes have them.
Anyway, dunno why I have these comments open.
