As mentioned on the WordPress Development Blog, the kickass sidebar widgets system that’s in use at WordPress.com is now available for everyone as a plugin. For those who don’t have a WordPress.com blog, here’s a screenshot of the great drag-and-drop system:

While currently only a few plugins support this cool new plugin, more are supporting it every day. None of mine do yet, but they will soon! :)

  1. I was quite dissapointed when I found out it was initially only for wordpress.com users, quite happy now, that they let the rest of us make use of this excellent plugin :D
