Generic 48x CD burner????
How dare you use a generic device!
Decent PC though ๐
You need some LCD’s
tz
Haha, I stole it outta my old Dell. ๐
Not like it really matters anyway. It’s empty 99.9% of the time as I use my DVD burner primarily and I have all games that I commonly play no-CD cracked or have a clone of the game’s CD/DVD mounted. ๐
Pfft, not bad for a machine that’s over a year old… ๐
Eww!
Okay, actually, I’d love one for my secondary monitor as it’d take up less space, but I LOVE my current primary CRT. I’m running 1600x1200x85Hz on it right now and it’ll do up to 2048x1536x60Hz. Plus, unless I shell out an arm and a leg for a top end LCD, I’ll get ghosting and that’s BAD in a game. ๐
Kitchen sink = + 12 ghz?
Of course!
Ha, look me being all leet and posting on a win98 machine :/
Odd, it thinks you’re on XP.
That was my other computer, the one in my room.
THis is the reception one at the hotel.
And yes, it runs on win98.
Ouch.
nice box , cool to find another pdx geek so randomly. i hopped over from the tvtad forum and wound up here.
Heh, thanks. ๐
I could get a use of 2gb of ram-3d studio max is so ram-hungry:)
Cool spread man. Pretty Neat. The only thing I’d lose is the flopy drive. I’m not even sure I knwo what a floppy disk looks like anymore. Seems like they’re from another eon. ๐
Haha, yeah, but it is handy when I need to boot up like Memtest or something. Easier than burning a CD. ๐
Nice system, but your audio doesnt go well ๐ Need to buy a real Hife 5.1 amp, yamaha eg. With opto-digital soundcable. This really rox on fragtours ๐ Dont forget the 700watts active subwoofer…
Heh, yeah, I’ll go crazy for an actual home stereo, but for a computer, this is about as much as I wanna go. I mean hell, I usually literally have my subwoofer at the notch above “Off” ’cause anything more vibrates the room. ๐
I got so excited and then I realised that you ruined it all by installing Windows …

lol, you’re running Windows. ๐
And this PC is used for gaming, so it has to run Windows. Games don’t run too well under Wine, plus I suck ass at Linux, so…
