Hey Viper, I suggest you run a screenshot by Donncha. he’d probably be interested in it.

The WP.com Stats plugin only reported 112,154 views (dunno why it’s reporting less than awstats) which is less than the screenshot on Donncha’s site, so I doubt it.
Plus I mentioned the traffic to him the other day and he didn’t mention anything about wanting a screenshot.
Oh, and while we’re on the subject, the server also served in the neighborhood 2.5 million images that day thanks to another site hosted here, heh.

Heya,
What mode did you run wp-super-cache on that day. Did you setup the special high traffic modes, or just the default caching? Full static pages, or object caching only?

Does WP-Super-Cache even have an object cache mode?
Anyway, I ran normal full .html caching and a Squid frontend to lessen the load on Apache.
On another note, I beat June 22nd’s record last Sunday (the 29th) with 132,930 real pages (the “207,640″ above turns out to be actually doubled since each page load also loads in a 2nd page via AJAX).
